They've taken the best material from their private workshops and turned them into some wonderful CD classes. Chris and Carol have trained people from beginner level up to award-winning touring artists.

Now with their product, you can take voice training lessons in the comfort and privacy of your own home!

Thanks to the Vocal Coach and the Schoolhouse Review Crew, our family had the opportunity to use and review The Vocal Coach Singer. This program is made up of 7 training CDs, 4 workout CDs, an instructional guidebook, and printable lead sheets.

This program includes over $2,000 worth of personal coaching time. It is usable by both the beginner and professional, by building on the basics from posture, breathing, and voice exercises.

The Vocal Coach Singer comes in both CD and MP3 format, we received the MP3s. WOW, are they ever packed full of information!

How have we been using this program? When I downloaded the files, each CD was in a zip file. After unzipping them to a new folder on our computer I started looking around.

The Getting Started gives in an introduction to the program then has an intro to each CD lesson and talks about what you will be learning in that. I've used it to help guide our progress through the other CDs.

This program looks to be intended for teens and adults, and they do have another program that is made for children ages 3 to 13.  However, all of my children love it!

Our children, unlike their mother love to sing, so I thought this program would be a hit with them. We spend about 30 minutes working with it in the afternoon. We started learning about correct posture and they taught some simple exercises to help strengthen your muscles to improve your posture.

One of them was laying on your tummy and then raising your arms and legs into the air. Funny enough, the only one who could do this easily the first time was our 5-year old! I guess what they said was true, you're are born with good posture, but through bad habits, it gets worse over time. These exercises although hard at first, do get easier over time.

After working on posture and breathing exercises you move into voice training. In the beginning, it starts with things like "mum mum mum mum" and "min min min min" moving up and down in scale. This brought back memories of my days in the middle school choir!

Overall, our children have really enjoyed this program and we will continue to use it in our lessons.

If you are looking for singing lessons for yourself or your children, Vocal Coach offers a wonderful value!
