CHSH Download Club Your Ultimate Homeschool Resource - Review

Do you find you are spending hours searching online for printables and worksheets for your children? I know I do and it can take so much time to find just the right resource for our study. When I heard that CHSH-Teach.com has thousands of resources in their CHSH Download Club I couldn't wait to try it out and see if it would help reduce the amount of time I spend searching for printables.

Disclosure: I received a free copy of this product for review, all opinions are 100% my own.

CHSH-Teach.com stands for the Christian Homeschool Hub and it was created by Lynda Ackert a teacher of 20+ years who started homeschooling when she had children. Lynda loves to create printable resources and started the CHSH-Teach as a place to share these resources with teachers and homeschool families.

CHSH-Teach.com has over 50,000 printable resources!  There is always new material being added making this a very helpful resource.

CHSH Teach Search Area.

To help you find what you're looking for you can search by category, topic or keyword.  You can also browse by subject category.

Homeschool subject areas.

Subject categories are:

  • Bible Related Resources

  • Languages

  • Arts, Music & Crafts

  • Language Arts

  • Math

  • Science

  • Social Studies

  • Electives

  • Health

You can also browse by grade level.  They are divided into groups:

  • Preschool/Kindergarten

  • 1st - 3rd Grade

  • 4th - 8th Grade

  • High School

In each of the grades, there are groups for subjects and topics.

Something that I think is really handy is the section for months!  Every 2 months is grouped together with any holiday or season resources listed under it.  This makes it so easy to find a Groundhog Day activity or Easter whatever you need.

Learning materials include:

  • Worksheets

  • Flashcards

  • Lapbooks

  • Notebooking pages

  • Full curriculum and much more!

To help you organize your homeschool you also have many graphic organizers, planning forms, calendars, and many other helpful planning resources.

How We Have Been Using The Download Club

When I first logged in I spent some time looking through all of the categories available.  I wanted to have a good idea of all the resources available to me.

I quickly realized that one thing that makes the Download Club different from other worksheet sites I've used before is that it also offers full curriculum!  You can really download and go if you want to.

Sample of proverbs copywork.

I lean towards the Charlotte Mason methods of homeschooling so we try to add daily copywork to our lessons.  One of the first printables I downloaded was the My Proverbs Copywork for Kids.

Copywork page.

I love this little Bible copywork book!  It's 14 pages long so a quick print.  Each page has 2 to 3 proverb passages with plenty of room underneath for children to copy it.

In the Arts section, we have been using the how-to-draw books.  They've all been a hit but my girl’s favorite is the How to Draw Flowers ebook.  This is a 31-page ebook that shows you step-by-step how to draw different flowers.

I love that under the final drawing is a short description of the flower.  Children are told its name and what it looks like as well as where it grows or if it's used for a special occasion.

We've been using the How to Draw Flowers book as part of our nature study notebooks.  After we've drawn our flower we try to find an example of it in the wild or in local gardens to observe.

I'm also really enjoying the printable math resources!  My younger children are reviewing fractions right now so we've been working on some of the fraction ebooks.  They are so easy to use and all include full answer keys for quick and easy marking.

Elementary fractions worksheet.

The CHSH Download Club is available as a yearly subscription or a lifetime membership. Both are amazing options and very well-priced for the large number of homeschool printables that are available to you.

I'm really loving my membership and it has made my homeschool planning much easier.  I have yet to need a resource that I couldn't find on the Christian Homeschool Hub.
